The Capture Module (CM) CAN Combo from Technica Engineering is an active TAP device that captures data traffic from up to six CAN (-FD) buses, one FlexRay bus, and two RS-232/TTL interfaces. The received data is captured and timestamped with a hardware time stamp without interfering with the vehicle network (IVN). The captured data is then sent to the data sink (e.g., data logger or PC).

The CM offers a flexible and user-friendlyconfiguration through its built-in web server. Thedevice webpage can be easily accessed via astandard web browser. In addition, the possibility toimport/export a configuration makes it even moreconvenient.
Capture Modules are designed to be used in different environments such as in the car, on a development desk or in testbenches. In order to cover these areas as best as possible, the devices allow continuous operation and a wide temperature range.
