
1000BASE-T1 MediaConverter SFP Module
The 1000BASE-T1 SFP Module is the cutting-edge solution to convert between 1000BASE-T1 and SGMII. It fits into a standard Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) and generates 1000 Mbit/s full-duplex. An ideal candidate to interact with automotive Ethernet with gigabit interfaces in test houses. When plugged into approved devices, Hardware-in-Loop (HiL) systems and test benches with compatible chassis, the 1000BASE-T1 SFP Module has to be configured to automotive Ethernet 1000BASE-T1 after power-up. The product features a DIP switch over the module for adjustment of Master/Slave mode of operation for automotive Ethernet 1000BASE-T1.
By using the Marvell 88Q2112 A2 PHY transceiver, we ensure a trustworthy and effective tool to our customers that are looking for a cost-efficient, quick and manageable solution for their testing requirements, with minimum latency and maximum reliability. Registers of the integrated transceiver are accessible via I2C interface for diagnosis and reconfiguration.
No customized driver is needed to interact with this device. It communicates with standard gigabit automotive Ethernet. It is equipped with a Molex connector which makes its design portable and easy to install in test racks and HiL Systems. The metal housing makes it robust with IP20 protection. The device is capable to function in a variating temperature range from 0 Celsius to +70 Celsius. With the in-built status LED, the operation of the device is transparent and aids the tester to detect Link up and data transmission visually.
The device can be coupled with any hardware or software tool that operates on standard gigabit automotive Ethernet 1000BASE-T1. It works seamlessly with our switch-based Media Gateway (TE-1100), which has the capacity for one SFP slot. The 1000BASE-T1Port is optimized for the automotive use cases.
